As the driving force behind Fusion Media, Michelle Costello has gone above and beyond in making Fusion Magazine and The Limerick Magazine what they are today. With a background in the media industry spanning sales, public relations, advertising, project management, event co-ordination and marketing, Michelle started out with the intent of filling a gap in the market in her home City of Limerick, and wanted to create a platform for creative communities. This has led to the development of Fusion Media as an international creative agency growing rapidly in the market.
What are your favourite things?
I’m a big fan of talking to people and having conversations that educate and inspire, I do love travel and experiencing new cultures, food & wine in no particular order, fashion, especially the creativity of fusing fashion, photography and publishing, oh and puppies… who doesn’t love puppies right?
“It’s nice to be nice, no-one likes to work with an asshole”
How would you describe yourself?
I would say I’m the hybrid lovechild of strategy & creativity mixed with a bag of sweets.
Tarmo is originally from continental Europe. While taking a detour through Ireland, in his attempt to travel the world, he was seduced by the charm and the craic of the people of Limerick city, so he decided to get acquainted with the local approach to life, hopefully make few new friends, figure out that Guinness drink thingy, and extend his stay for however long the party would last.
16 years later, Tarmo has finally managed to learn a thing or two about Irish culture and life in general, and even pick up one of those useless skills, like photography, just so he could avoid any physical labour as much as possible, by just calling himself an artist.
Currently he has managed to sniff out a cozy position in Fusion Media, serving as the HoPD (Head of Passion Department) and is spending his days annoying the rest of the team with his hipster talk about the importance of creativity, positivism and free beer in a workplace.
He has been seen occasionally to pick up his camera and take a picture or two, mainly focusing on editorial style portraiture, commercial and advertorial photography, including food/drink and interior/architectural photography, and dabbles also in creative fashion and artistic nude. He really sucks at wedding photography though, and his baby photography is horrendous altogether.

He can’t make up his mind really..
How could you describe yourself: A fine blend of charm and bullshit.
